Membership Committee
The Membership Committee keeps track of all members and contact information. The Committee is also responsible for new member recruitment and welcoming new members to the club.
Please contact the Membership Chair if your contact information changes.
Communications Committee
This is a newly formed committee which is responsible for producing and mailing the club BULLetin, maintaining the club CraftNet site, and telephone members with reminders for upcoming club events.
The Communications Committee meets one evening per month for nine months of the year.
Education Committee
The function of the Education Committee is to promote the Graphic Arts Industry to people of all ages who are considering a career in graphic arts as well as those who are already involved in the Graphic Arts Industry.
The Education Committee also assists Club members who require additional training and those who require re-training for their positions within the Graphic Arts Industry.
Members are encouraged to offer suggestions and comments to the Education Committee.
Program Committee
The Program Committee arranges and schedules programs and guest speakers for the General Dinner Meetings. The Program Committee also works with the Vancouver Club of Printing House Craftsmen to organize speakers, tours and other co-op events.
Club members are welcome to offer suggestions to the Program Chair for upcoming Meetings.
Gallery of Superb Printing
Now in it's fourth year, the Gallery of Superb Printing of British Columbia is rapidly becoming the premiere printing contest in British Columbia. Many submissions in past Galleries have continued on to win awards at the International Gallery of Superb Printing.
The committee organizes advertising and promotions, entries, judging, award production and the annual Gala evening. The Gallery Committee meets once each month for most of the year, with more frequent meetings as the event draws closer to completion.
Social Committee
Who says we can't have fun? The Social Committee organizes social events for the Fraser Valley Club as well as coordinating social events with other clubs. The Social Committee meets on an as needed basis.
Club members are welcome to offer suggestions for club gatherings to the Social Chair.
Golf Committee
They say that your worst day of golf is better than your best day at work. Perhaps this is the reason that the Annual Golf Tournament is always such a success. The tournament is open to Club Members and guests. Lots of fun things are always planned with prizes and a dinner at the end of the day. The Golf Committee meets on an as needed basis.
