About this piece
Azure to cobalt; limpid green to deepest blue, the world's poets have never lacked for words seeking to describe the colors of the oceans. Perhaps only the mind's eye can fully savor the ever changing rainbow of the rushing tides. It is the rare human who has not felt the occasional need to go down to the sea again and contemplate life's rhythms pooling and then receding in the wine dark sea.
And thus, if one wished to convey the healing nature of human contact with the sea as part of a new hair care product line for Salonquest Aquage, what better tool than riveting color to convey the power of organic sea botanicals to nourish and restore.
This brochure is oversized, as well it must be to capture the glorious seascapes decorated with world class models, and every page a more fabulous display of the mystery of the sea.
First time entrant Fortran Printing, Inc., of Cleveland Ohio is no stranger to success in other print competitions, and we are pleased that they are the winner of the inaugural edition of the GretagMacbeth Best in Color Award.
