About this piece
"MTV VH1 Vogue Fashion Awards"
The “D” girls would dig
this! Whether her name is Donatella Versace or Donna Karan, she would
intuitively say, yes, that’s cool!
This sumptuous program from the VH1 – Vogue Fashion Awards in
October of 2000, uses an extravagant designers palette that would stir
the envy of any couture house from Milan to Paris.
For the glittering creatures who bedeck these pages, couture is
hot and couture is chic, simultaneously.
Art directors the world
over scheme away the wee small hours seeking ways to assure that their
most exotic creations might be deemed fit to grace these pages filled
with luxuriant and sultry explosions of techno-colored beauty.
The equally adept artists
of Quality Graphics Center used a 5-color hybrid
UV process plus overall Gloss Ultra Violet coating to achieve the
“look” the fashion cognoscenti demand.
This masterful use of full color floods of ink on most every page
made the VH1 – Vogue Fashion Awards Program the judge’s unanimous
choice as the Kohl & Madden Best Use of Ink Award.
