winning entry was produced on the astonishing Xerox DocuColor iGen3
digital press, which marks the third generation of color revolution
invented and patented by the technology wizards of Xerox.
The
DocuColor iGen3 can produce a 4 color image at 6,000 impressions per
hour.
The
people of Mercury Print Productions of Rochester, have a well deserved
reputation for cutting edge expertise (remarkably, the firm also won the
Best Printers Self Promotion Award in the 2001 International Gallery).
The
winning piece was created to show off the delicate color virtuosity of
the iGen3 and was designed as an insert for Xerox Corporation’s Annual
Report.
