About this piece
"Papeterie - Ville De Montréal-Est"
Crenellated Crown,
Crusaders Cross
This
understated, yet elegant envelope, speaks quietly of the sweep of
history's pageant across the broad St. Lawrence and atop the heights the
English called Mount Royal, and which the voyageurs, the Jesuits and the
tribes of the Six Nations called Montréal.
Nestled
in the Gallic cluster the coat of arms is emblazoned with the crusaders
cross and is capped with a crenellated crown.
Using
seven colors and embossing and debossing, the richly detailed engraving
by Gravure Choquet Inc. of Montréal is accorded the Western States
Envelope, Best Envelope Award.
