Why do so
many Global Firms enter? First, it is able to say to its existing and future clientele -- "Our work has won acclaim upon a global stage. Quality still matters and we have the credentials to prove it. We will produce your project skillfully and artfully, on time and on budget." Second, an award winning firm can expose its unique skill sets and product portfolio to the Executive staff of the IAPHC who utilize a database driven program called the Knowledge Network to deliver new business opportunities to past entrants based upon the type and caliber of those past entries. In other words, if a print broker in Portland, Oregon is seeking a webprinter in Canada or Mexico, it will be a past entrant in the International Gallery who will get the call. Third, the savvy graphic arts firm knows that finding and retaining skilled and digitally empowered employees remains the most formidable challenge. Honoring employees who have played a part in achieving global renown in the International Gallery becomes a most effective way to motivate and incentivate employees who understand that the triumvirate of Craft, Art and Science remain vital and exciting in the digital day and age.
