Technical Notes: The Pressure Gauge image utilized 6 spot colors and a matt and gloss varnishes. Creating a knock out and trap for each of the spot halftones, then press ready PDF files that utilized the DeviceN color space, was required in order to get the correct separation output to plate. Thirteen colours were used throughout the book. Using stochastic screening eliminated the need to plan various screen angles. The pressroom challenge: Most forms ran 4 times through
the 6 color Heidelberg CD102 without marking and in perfect register.
