"Big, Bold & Beautiful Folder"
The traditions of engineering big iron in the Adamov Valley area of Czechoslovakia date from the 1840’s where the manufacture of heavy machinery, including pumps, steam cars and locomotives has continued through many generations. In 1952 Adamovske Strojirny became a separate company (hence the acronym ADAST) and began producing printing presses. Today ADAST in partnership with firms like Presstek, exports digital printing presses to more than 70 countries.
This colourful presentation folder stars Albert the orangutang, and is titled in his honor, “Big, Bold and Beautiful.” The entry was printed by Dave Badgley of the Adast Canada Ltd. Team on an Adast 755 DI press at the firm's Toronto area head office.
