every year, an entry with a backstory. This firm sought to win some
printing work from a Fortune 500 company. One of the folks in marketing
thought the self-promotional piece sent by the prospecting firm was
nothing short of phenomenal and indeed the judges agreed most
emphatically. The Kodak Polychrome Graphics Award for the Best Printers
Self-Promotion goes to PBM Graphics Inc of Durham, North Carolina – for
as PBM states: “It’s all about the craftsmanship and truth of putting
ink on paper. You can’t fake it. The printing business is about honesty
and experience.” Agreed!
