The 31st International Gallery presented more than 2,500 entries from around the globe to its International jurors August 11-13 in Jacksonville, Florida, USA. The competition is devoted to the principles of honoring excellence in the graphic arts by Celebrating Craft, Applauding Art and Showcasing Science. Throughout its development as a prestigious graphic arts competition, the International Gallery has been proudly produced by the IAPHC, a trade association with thousands of individual members around the world.

In 2005, entries originating in Australia, Britain, China, Holland, Hong Kong, Israel, Italy, Korea, Lithuania, Mexico, New Zealand, The Cayman Islands and Singapore joined hundreds of other entrants from around North America in competing for honors including sponsored Best of the Best awards, which are named awards bearing the support of a world class roster of Internationally known graphic arts supplier firms.
2005 marked the sixth straight year more than 2,500 entries were judged. More than 4 dozen international judges trained their expert eyes on these entries which had to pass three grueling rounds of judging to be eligible for the Best of the Best named awards. The Best of the Best were selected on 19 November, 2005 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA.

The International Gallery has become one of the premier printing events in the world. Due to numerous local galleries, an increase in club participation, entries received from around the world, and the Best of the Best Awards Ceremonies at the IAPHC MidYear Meeting, the total number of entries received has increased as individuals and companies vie for world-wide recognition. The specific expertise of International Gallery entrants leaps time zones and geographic borders.
