EFI, XEROX COLLABORATE TO DELIVER NEW PRINTER
FOR GRAPHIC ARTS PROFESSIONALS

    SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 10, 2005 – At Macworld San Francisco 2005, the world’s most comprehensive Macintosh operating system event, EFI (Nasdaq: EFII) and Xerox Corporation (NYSE: XRX) will be launching the Xerox Phaser® EX7750 color laser printer to deliver high-caliber color fidelity, image quality and performance for graphic arts professionals who need to quickly produce complex color documents such as brochures, mailers and other documents.

    The Phaser EX7750, demonstrated at Xerox Macworld Booth No. 1043, is a bundled system that includes the EFI Fiery® EX7750 color server and the award-winning Xerox Phaser 7750 color printer. Color servers are workstations that process print files and drive the printer.

    Expanding Xerox’s portfolio of graphic arts products, the Phaser EX7750 provides the power, color precision and advanced workflow controls to support a wide range of graphic arts and production applications in environments from short-run printing to in-plant print shops. The Phaser EX7750 color management tools produce the consistently high-quality documents customers want -- streamlining the printing process and eliminating extra review cycles.

    The Phaser EX7750 is the latest result of the long-standing collaboration between EFI and Xerox, which includes Fiery servers optimized for the Xerox DocuColor 12 copier/printer, DocuColor 3535 multifunction system, DocuColor 5252 digital press, DocuColor 6060 digital press, DocuColor 8000 digital press, and the Xerox iGen3® Digital Production Press.

    The Xerox Phaser EX7750 color laser printer is available through the Xerox direct sales force, authorized sales agents, and authorized resellers. The Phaser EX7750 starts at an estimated retail price of $17,899.
