Your Craftsmen Network at work
Mike Handlin of Uarco Impressions, and the East Bay Club, needed information about the Kinko's organization. Headquarters assembled and faxed him seven different news items within the hour.
Sue Schmidt of Prismagraphics, and the Milwaukee-Racine Club, called Headquarters with an inquiry about trade practices relative to a faxed copy of a potential job which did not reveal the true level of complexity of the actual films. Headquarters identified several provisions of the Revised Trade Customs of the Printing Industry of North America which directly addressed Sue's concerns and faxed them to her. Sue also asked about resources for estimating training. Headquarters faxed her an announcement about Phillip Ruggles book Printing Estimating, 4th Edition.
Reed Jons of Strauss Printing and the Madison Area Club needed a source for washable tattoo printing. Headquarters hooked him up with "HotlineCy" who has a computer database for all kinds of specialty needs called Brokering for Profit.

Some of you who are using Microsoft Internet Explorer may have been missing out on part of the graphics on the site--we found a bug in our coding that caused an error with the linked images to the Int'l contacts and Membership Information pages (like the two at the bottom of this page) . The bug has been fixed on most of the site and will be completely corrected within the next few days. Sorry if this has caused any problems.
