Your Craftsmen Network at Work
Tom Newland, a member who owns a service printing firm in Blaine, Minnesota called HQ and asked for guidance on what level of sales production he could expect from his prepress department. HQ did some research and faxed Tom specific revenue targets within the hour.
John Spooner of M & T Bank and the Buffalo Club called Kevin Keane at IAPHC HQ and asked who he could talk to about a technical problem involving thermography. Kevin gave John the number of Mike Emanuelli, former North Jersey Club member now employed in a training capacity at Business Cards Tomorrow in Boca Raton, Florida. John later told Kevin that Mike was extremely helpful and that it is just "Super!" that John can call and find out who has expertise without having to invest a lot of his own time in tracking down someone.
Mike Kemple of Business Cards Plus and the Kalamazoo Valley Club wanted to refer a young lady who had been a member of his Club (and who had just finished her graphic arts education and who had just accepted a job with a Detroit area printer) to contacts within the Detroit Club. HQ provided the names and numbers of John Hages, Mike Stinnett and Gene Tata. Kevin also told Mike that the well known business card and wedding invitation printer Carlson Craft had just entered 19 pieces in the 1997 International Gallery of Superb Printing and that Susie Shipman of the Kansas City Club and owner of 24 Hour Business Cards had entered the International Gallery for the first time with two gorgeous cards. Mike said his firm would have to enter also!
If you have a problem finding a solution or have an example of how the Craftsmen Network has recently benefited you, we'd like to hear about it. Just send an e-mail to International Headquarters.
