Note to all Members and Clubs
By Kevin Keane, IAPHC CEO

NOW IS THE TIME TO SUBMIT GALLERY!

- Special Thanks! First to the North Jersey Club for their magnificent gesture in pre-paying the first quarter dues for fiscal 1998-1999. The Lima Area Club was the first to make this effort and their lead has been followed by Albuquerque, St. Louis, Topeka and Waterloo-Cedar Falls, and now North Jersey. Second, our thanks also go to the Capital District Club for their gracious contribution of one month's server rental fee for CraftNet making our 24 hour Craftsmen's Club in Cyberspace available to you all.

CASH-IN TO WIN!

Last week each Club President received a quantity of tickets for this fundraiser created by IAPHC treasurer Tony Sarubbi. An explanatory press release also went to each Club President as well as to the Club Bulletin Editor. Jeff Mayer of the Mid-Hudson Club and Second District Deputy Governor sold 8 tickets at last week's North Jersey meeting (thanks again to North Jersey!) and we sold 13 more to folks we met while attending Midwest Graphics over the weekend here in Minneapolis. Tickets cost $10 (US) each. Call, fax or e-mail us if you'd like a supply.

Educational Products

Just a reminder that we have copies of the video The Professional Guide to Graphic Design and Commercial Printing available for sale; as well as the new book by Lynella Grant, The Business Card Book. We've sold a dozen or more copies of the video and would be happy to fax you a descriptive sheet if you'd like. And when we wrote about The Business Card Book in Tuesday Morning News two weeks ago, Steve Robinson of the Central Minnesota Club and Shelly Tupper of the Calgary Club instantly ordered a copy.

Video cost is $99 (US) plus $7.50 S/H. Book cost is $15 (US) plus S/H.

Rochester Convention

Mark Lodermeier of the Central Minnesota Club and Jan Johnson of the Sierra-Nevada Club reacted to a blurb in last weeks TMN and asked that we fax them copies of the Convention Registration and Hotel Reservation forms. Remember: Early Bird Discount expires on June 15th. Would you like us to fax the forms to you? Also, in recognition of the horrendous exchange rate differential, our Canadian members can enjoy a 20% discount off the early bird registration fee of $300 (US).

Look For: Bulletin Editor mailing, mailed on Friday 17 April including a letter from IAPHC Bulletin Chair Jim Dallas, and press releases for: * Karen Woolley appointed IAPHC Membership Chair * CASH-IN TO WIN release * CraftNet Challenge II status * Great Gallery Giveback's * Free International Gallery Call for Entries release
