Club and IAPHC News
By Kevin Keane, IAPHC CEO

Spring Training Time!

That's how the 11th District headlines its annual Conference regimen and we are delighted to be headed out there later this week. Also this first weekend of May Craftsmen will be gathering for District Conferences in the 2nd and 5th Districts. We wish them all good fielding and trust that there will be no strike-outs! Last weekend the Fourth District had its confab and a new slate of District Officers were elected:

District Governor - Mike Donnelly - York Club
Deputy Governor - Glenn Bobb - York Club
District President - Tammy Slaughter - Richmond Club
Vice President - Gary Albright - York Club
Secretary - Ken Wood - Richmond Club
Treasurer - Kirk Weary - York Club

Our sincere thanks to past Governor Jim Franz for his distinguished service to the IAPHC as District Governor.

Springfield Club Is Online!

Today's mail brought the Charter for the new Springfield, Missouri Club. Our gratitude to Russ Renshaw for all his hard work in making this Club a reality. Russ says the prospective Charter Night is June 29th; if you can be there to help the club celebrate, they would be honored. More information as it becomes available. If you want to drop Russ an e-mail note of congratulations he is at ozarkdad@juno.com

Meanwhile past Fourth District Governor Jim Franz sends the good news that the first get together for a re-born Washington DC Club was held last week, and further, Jim and new Governor Mike Donnelly will be working on a Club in the Winchester area, to be called the Apple Valley club.

Other IAPHC News

- Each Club president has a supply of CASH-IN TO WIN tickets. Odds of wining the top prize of $1,250 are really quite attractive. Get your tickets now, or call IAPHC HQ if you want us to send you a supply directly. There can be ten $500 winners and 15 $250 winners too. Fred Hutchinson of the Seattle Club has indicated he will sell 100 CASH-IN TO WIN tickets in the Seattle area!

- Business Card Caddies (holders) back in stock. If you are looking for a nice reasonably priced gift for your Club Board to thank them for their service this year, consider the very useful Business Card Caddy. Only $5.50 each. Ralene Nelson has already filled up six of them! Gray cover imprinted with the IAPHC logo and our Mission Statement, holds 96 cards.

- Our thanks to Eric Kanstrup who becomes the first Canadian to join the long list of IAPHC members-at-large who have signed up for three years of membership. Eric had been a long time and very active member of the Ottawa Club and is a big supporter of the International Gallery.
