Y'KNOW Follow-up
Long time recipients of this newsletter understand that a chief benefit of IAPHC membership is access to the knowledge, skills and experience resident in the minds of fellow members no matter where located. Access to a phenomenal database of talent and technique that is freely given. WOW, what a value! We call this program of member benefit:

Your Knowledge Network Obviously Works. (Y'KNOW?)
Several weeks ago we posted an inquiry from Judy Cochrane for a source to duplicate a high volume of floppy discs with labels. She receive a same day answer from John Berthelsen of Suttle Press and the Madison Area Club. In that same issue we posted a request for Y'KNOW assistance from John Spooner of the Buffalo Club regarding cold web printing of inserts. John got a call at home from Cy Valerius of Printed Media Companies in Minneapolis. Jody Sorsen of Printed Media picked up the request and passed it on to Cy who is a font of knowledge on the subject.
And today, Len Petitti, of Eastman Kodak and the Rochester Club called looking for information about labor rates (expressed as a percentage) in the US, Japan, Germany and Holland. We immediately faxed him US numbers and gave him some leads for the other countries.
Your Knowledge Network Obviously Works, Y'KNOW?
If you're having difficulty finding a solution or have an example of how the Craftsmen Network had recently benefited you, we'd like to hear about it. Please send an e-mail to headquarters@iaphc.org.
