Would you like to meet Bruce James of CA, the 24th U.S. Printer, or John Hamm of IN, VP of Marketing world-wide for Xerox Corporation, or George Bounalis of MD, from National Geographic? How about Roy Grossman of Sandy Alexander, NJ, Jay Mandarino of CJ Graphics, Ontario, David Wiens of Hemlock Printers in Vancouver or representatives from pre-press, bindery, digital, flexo, die-cutting finishing and supply companies of all aspects of the industry whether it be software or paper related?

Of course you would. Some of you would apply as an intern to work for free just to be near these people. They are the ones with their fingers on the pulse of our industry. They also are members of our association. Many have spoken to our members about the changes in the industry, and how to do business in today's world. Perhaps you wouldn't otherwise have had the opportunity to learn from these people or to hear their knowledgeable opinions on the industry, if you weren't a member of the IAPHC.

We may not have world renowned members in every chapter, but you ask any fellow member for assistance and I guarantee that they will assist and guide you in any way they can, through the opportunity of meeting you at a local get-together, regional conference or an international event.

Our pride, and our mutual awe of ourselves and our history is shared as we will soon be celebrating International Printing Week®, January 15-21, 2006.
