IAPHC CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD ELECTED

The IAPHC, The Graphic Professionals Resource Network announces the election of Eric Olsen to the position of Chairman of the Board for 2006-2007.

The Board of Directors unanimously elected Eric Olsen for the 1 year term at its annual convention held August 17-19, 2006 in San Diego, CA. The IAPHC Board is comprised of 10 Regional Directors and 1 Director at Large who are charged with the long range planning for the association.

Mr. Olsen has been an IAPHC member for 26 years and has been involved on the international level for the last 12 years. Most recently he served as Northeast Regional Director and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors. He has also served on the association’s Identity, Budget, and Industry and Education Committees.

As Chairman, Mr. Olsen encourages the advancement of the EPIC concept (educate, promote, inform and connect) by capitalizing on the diversity and strengths of the membership. He hopes to provide trusted and professional leadership that will foster an increase in value and opportunities for members while developing alliances with companies in the global graphics market.

Mr. Olsen is employed by 3i Graphics and Displays in Binghamton, NY where he resides with his wife Josephine, and 3 children.

The Board also elected Arthur Mole of Vancouver, British Columbia, as Vice Chairman and appointed Fran Pagel of Stevens Point, Wisconsin as Secretary/Treasurer.
